Clipping Seams

Tailoring Thursdays™, Tips, Tricks and Techniques for Sewers

Clipping Seams

What is clipping seams?
You don't really clip the seam...more like the seam allowance.

Clipping near a seam lets you turn curves and corners right side out.
You don't actually clip the stitching.
Just close to it.

Then you can also cut out little "pizza" shaped slices and voila!
The next time you need to turn a curved seam or a tight corner add a little clipping and it will go so much easier.
